CANAL DAYS 2022
Client Background
Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival was established in 1979 and takes place annually in Port Colborne, celebrating the city’s rich marine history and its deep connection to the Welland Canal through a vibrant, community-focused event. Over the years, the festival has grown into one of the largest in the Niagara Region, evolving into a multi-day celebration featuring live music, tall ships, family-friendly programming, and waterfront attractions while remaining rooted in its mission to honour local heritage.
Strategy & Outcome
In 2022, I had the opportunity to contribute to the promotion of Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival by designing a wide range of print collateral, including pull-up banners, posters, and a tri-fold French brochure highlighting the event schedule, site map, and featured musical acts. Each piece was developed to maintain a cohesive visual identity while ensuring clear, accessible communication for both local attendees and visiting guests, created while working as a Graphic Designer at Brand Blvd.
