NIAGARA FALLS CONVENTION CENTRE (NFCC)
Client Background
Niagara Falls Convention Centre opened in 2011 and serves as a premier event venue in the Niagara Region, located just minutes from the iconic Niagara Falls. Designed to host conferences, trade shows, and large-scale events, the facility has become a key destination for both national and international gatherings. Over the years, it has established itself as a central hub for business and tourism, offering modern amenities, flexible event spaces, and a strong connection to the surrounding hospitality industry while contributing to the region’s economic growth.
Strategy & Outcome
In January 2024, I joined the Niagara Falls Convention Centre as the Graphic Design & Marketing Coordinator. Since then, my role has evolved into Marketing Specialist, where I oversee all marketing efforts including graphic design, photography, web, email, social media, and advertising. In this position, I also act as a creative liaison across all departments—supporting Sales, Events, Engineering, Administration, Finance, and IT to ensure cohesive and effective communication across the organization.

NFCC Venue Series Logo - Designed as a dynamic film-strip-inspired identity, this mark shortens Niagara Falls Convention Centre to “NFCC.” A maple leaf highlights its cross-border presence, while a wave effect introduces motion suited to a video series.

NFCC 15th Anniversary Logo - A commemorative mark celebrating 15 years of operation. The design incorporates the existing wordmark, shimmer icon, slogan, and operational dates to maintain consistency while marking the milestone.

Introducing the NFCC Venue Series, a creative initiative designed to deliver important information and tell engaging stories in a fast, visually compelling format. This video series highlights the unique spaces, standout features, and valued partners that make the Niagara Falls Convention Centre a premier destination for events of all kinds. Whether planning a conference, trade show, or special event, each episode offers a behind-the-scenes look at what sets the venue apart.
For this project, I lead the entire creative process, from planning content, coordinating with regional partners and writing scripts to directing shoots, filming, and editing each video. I also collaborate with the VP of Sales & Marketing for revisions and approvals before publishing the final content across social media platforms and the Convention Centre’s website.
